Join Our Team: Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist Position

Are you an organized, compassionate communicator who loves animals? Dogwood Veterinary Hospital (DVH) is looking for a dedicated, welcoming, and proactive Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team! 

Position Type: Full-Time (Preferred)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM with 1 hr lunch
Experience Level: New graduates are welcome to apply! Experience with Covetrus or AviMark practice management software is a strong asset. 

What You Will Do:
As the face and voice of DVH, your responsibilities will encompass (but are not restricted to): 

  • Serving as the primary liaison between our clients and their veterinarians 
  • Handling client education and addressing inquiries with empathy and professionalism 
  • Utilizing Covetrus and AviMark PMS to schedule appointments, manage patient files, and bill clients 
  • Managing email communication and conducting follow-up phone calls 
  • Maintaining precise electronic patient records 
  • Assisting with the general cleaning, organization, and upkeep of the front waiting area, examination rooms and overall hospital cleanliness.
